Requirements:Fluent English, Passion for helping people
We are looking for volunteers to assist us with community care duties which take place each week. Community care duties are not first aid related and therefore, a community care worker only needs basic first aid training which they will receive in-house.
The duties we currently cover are just ARCH club - dundrum, but we hope to expand this to the wider community when we can get a stable base of volunteers.
Dundrum Arch Club is a social club for people with Intellectual Disabilities that meets every Wednesday 7.30 - 9.30PM.
If you are so inclined, you can become a medic, driver, youth worker or any other role within the unit once you've joined.
You will receive duty-specific training from an experienced member.
Is training provided?: Yes
Please note that Garda Vetting is required for this position.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
Currently just Tuesday evenings for Training and Wednesday evenings for ARCH club.
Minimum time commitment per week:
2 hour p/week
