What's required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A strong team player
Strong IT skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Ability to research and identify suitable partnership opportunities
Ability to perform duties in a professional manner
Previous managerial experience, working with teams of 4+ people
Ideally, studied or studying towards a degree in one of the following: English, communications, creative writing or a related area
Previous experience in grant writing is highly desired
Non-profit sector experience would be an advantage
Is training provided?:Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
In this role, you will be assisting with some of the following:
Identify financial needs within the organisation
Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies
Draft compelling grant proposals and supporting documents based on funding requirements
Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval
Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities
