Requirements:To be a registered international student in the University of Limerick
The objective is that international students become brand ambassadors for UL, promoting the university to prospective students abroad, and helping new students on their journey to
UL. The student experience is vital in promoting the university, and you have the chance to share your valuable real life insight, either universally to students from all over the world, or particularly to students from your home country.
Is training provided?: Yes
Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:
- Promote the university to prospective students through social media
- Blog about your time in UL/your journey to UL
- Help IED with social media and create content for us
- Help IED with events and promotional campaigns
- Engage with prospective students online
- Take part in promotional photo and video shoots
- Provide biographies and quotes for online and print publications
You don’t have to do every one of these; you can pick and choose based on your skills and interests.
One blog counts as 2 hours, and one week Insta or Snapchat takeover counts as 2 hours each. Any other activity you do for us i.e. taking part in an event etc. will be counted as well.
Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
