Bag Pack Coordinator
Irish Heart Foundation
Health and wellbeing
FirstLight, formerly the Irish Sudden Infant Death Association was established in 1977. It provides crisis intervention and free professional counselling services throughout Ireland to bereaved parents and family members who have suddenly lost a child. In 2017 over 2,000 children and family members received professional support from FirstLight.
From December 1st to 24th we will have a FirstLight Christmas pop-up shop in Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, Dublin city centre, from which we will sell FirstLight candles and pins and provide a Christmas gift wrapping service. We will also be displaying beautiful I.S.I.D.A. quilts, crafted with love by so many of parents and families. There will be photographs capturing aspects of ISIDA’s/FirstLight’s history and much more.
As this store requires staffing from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm daily for four weeks, we urgently need volunteers to support us with this endeavour. If you would like to volunteer for any/all of these 24 days, please apply below.
