Description

For those of you interested in participating next year - read on to find out more about the initiative in 2020:

What is the SSI North Pole Dash?

All the kilometres will be added up during the week and Santa and his sleigh will move on a virtual map from Ireland to the North Pole on the 6,506km journey. Everyone will be asked for a minimum donation of €10 that will go to the Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin. We have set a minimum target for €10,000 during the seven days and it would be our way of trying to bring the magic of Christmas to some of the children who will spend the festive period in hospital.

Where does the money go?

Your generosity will help save young lives and your donations will go to where the need is greatest in Children’s Health Ireland in Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre. Every year over 150,000 children go through the doors of Crumlin Children’s Hospital and your donation will help to provide critical equipment, extraordinary care and fund ground breaking research to find better, gentler treatments and give children the very best chance for a better tomorrow.

Is training provided?: No
