Operation Smile UK are on the hunt for inspiring #StudentLeaders who can spread the word about the life-changing work we are doing. Why not join more than 18,000 students worldwide in their mission to transform the lives of children born with cleft conditions by raising awareness and funds across campus.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN FROM THE EXPERIENCE

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

  • Location – Based at your university and surrounding area but working closely with staff at Operation Smile UK (OSUK)
  • Tasks – Fundraise and raise awareness of Operation Smile’s work in developing/resource poor countries
  • Support – Support via an in-depth induction into the role and how we function as an organisation; ongoing support throughout by OSUK staff
  • Fundraising Target - Minimum £2,000.00 per academic year
  • Allowance - for a minimum of £2,000.00 raised you will be paid an allowance not exceeding 10% of £2,000.00.  A further £100.00 is payable for reaching £3,000.00 or above.  This will be paid half yearly as applicable.

Details of time commitment needed for role:
1-2 days per month during term time spread out as necessary Minimum of 1 year; Maximum of 3 years

Minimum time commitment per week:
3 hour p/week
