Description partners with a number of other organisations throughout the year. We are looking for volunteers to attend these events as reporters. 

Our youth reporters will attend these events, talk to the organisers and participants and send back a report to be published on on the same day. Through this, you can help to highlight the great work of other organisations in the youth sector as well as develop your reporting and writing skills.

Is training provided?: Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Attend youth events near you (e.g. Young Social Innovators Speak Out Tour, The BT Young Scientist, The Gaisce awards ceremony), liaise with the organisers, interview participants and write a report or create a video to be featured on 

Skills required for this role:

Volunteers should be comfortable interviewing people, writing content or creating a video. 

No previous experience is necessary however. We will work with all volunteers to develop the skills you need for the role.

Dependant on the times/dates of events

Minimum time commitment per week:
1 hour p/week
