About Us:Akumakon is one of the longest running Anime and Manga conventions in Ireland.




Description

Akumakon will be starting on Friday the 13th of February and will finish on Sunday the 15th of February 2026. It will be taking place in Áras na Mac Léinn (Galway - Univeristy of Galway) and the surrounding buildings.

Many thanks to University of Galway for hosting us, and the University of Galway Anime and Manga Society for organising Akumakon each year.

Is training provided?:Yes

Tasks that the volunteer(s) will be expected to undertake:

Volunteers support the event management and logistics of the Festival Weekend. 

Every year we get loads of applications from all across Ireland from many great people that want to be part of making our amazing convention happen. However before you apply we ask that you be certain that you want to take part and that you will have the time to dedicate to the convention.
